Product-level compliance builds on this same foundation: JIG1 and JIG4 for aviation fuel handling, NATO STANAG 2895 (climate categories C1/C2) for defence-grade cold-weather performance, and EN 12312-5, EN 12285-2, EI 1581, MID and ADR across the product range.
UK defence and government procurement increasingly requires suppliers to demonstrate certified quality processes, not just product claims. Jet-Tekno’s refuelling systems are developed under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification, with project and quality assurance planning carried out in accordance with AQAP, and delivered under an existing security agreement with the Finnish Defence Forces.
Jet-Tekno’s rigid and semitrailer aircraft refuellers are built to JIG1, EN 12312-5, MID and ADR standards, and are fully compliant with NATO STANAG 2895, meeting climate categories C1 and C2. As one measure of how far the underlying testing regime goes: the equipment has been independently validated in a professional climate laboratory to operate at −40 °C.
JIG is the standard UK airports already build their fuelling operations around. Jet-Tekno’s rigid and semitrailer refuellers are JIG1-compliant, and its refuelling stations are JIG4-compliant, both built to EN 12312-5 – alongside ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification across the business.

Self-sufficient, relocatable fuel storage and distribution, powered independently of external electricity.
Civil aviation stations range from 5,000 to 20,000 litres, with double-skinned tanks to EN 12285-2, overwing refuelling, a filter water separator to EI 1581 and JIG4 compliance. Defence variants build on the same specification with flow rates of up to 1,500 l/min and combined overwing/underwing refuelling from a single hose reel.

Jet-Tekno’s refuelling technology is in service with the Finnish Defence Forces, and Jet-Tekno has supplied 38 aircraft refuellers, together with Norsk Scania, to the Norwegian Defence Material Agency (NDMA).
